Transform Defence for Sustainable Human Safety is an ever-growing TPNS project comprising a number of elements including (i) the Five Percent Proposal and the case that runaway military spending must be included in the climate finance/international development agenda (ii) the implementation of our ‘advocacy roadmap‘ by which to ensure the global military’s emissions impact on climate change is addressed within the UNFCCC; (iii) degrowth as applied to the military; and (iv) the need to include the military in all Green New Deals – Green New Deal Plus.
